How did we get from restaurants to sex with manatees?

    Oh yes, GL.

    back on topic:

Horn & Hardardt automats in NYC. We were there the summer of 1969, and I thought those were the most cool thing. Sure, the food wasn't all that great, but it was great art deco (even though I didn't know that at the time), all that stainless steel and glass.

I'm NOT gonna say anything bad about the person preparing some or most of the food I will be eating tomorrow.

HA!!! I pointed out to Trav last Sunday that when HE cooks, I spend more time in the kitchen than he does! I'm not saying that Trav is cleaning-dishes impaired or anything, but he does subscribe to that male way of loading the dishwasher. EVERYTHING is supposed to fit!!

Ah-hem. I recall more than one occasion when I helped you do dishes. But that was more to just be in a different room than Craig than anything else. And to keep eating smoked salmon after Trav would cut me off.

Since I live with a wonderful man who tends to over-enginner EVERYTHING, I don't.

There have been so many times that I've looked at Trav and said "Huh? Why are you doing it that way?"

Being a female who long ago decided that a butter knife (screw driver) and high heeled shoe (hammer) were enough to fix almost anything, he finds my simplistic ideas refreshing.

    Signed,
She who tried in vain to convince Trav's son that long stemmed wine glasses DO NOT belong on the top rack of the dishwasher.

And yanno, Reason. I KNOW you just try to start fights, but remember that I have more power tools.

You are mistaken in that you think my last comment was directed at you. It wasn't.

And gae, I am a militant lesbian of peace. I am all about harmony. I'm a lover, not a fighter.
